Cosmetic Ear Surgery
"Protruding ear, asymmetrical ear, deformed ear, too big earlobe? There's a solution!"
What cosmetic ear surgery interventions can be performed?
• Reducing the size of the earlobe,
• correction of a ruptured or V-shaped earlobe by cosmetic ear surgery,
• correction of large holes created after the use of earlobe stretchers/expanders,
• torn earlobe,
• reducing the size of the pinna,
• correction of so-called bat ears.
Cosmetic ear surgery is also an important part of anti-aging interventions, since the pinna keeps growing for the rest of our lives, so no matter how much attention we pay towards keeping the face youthful, the size of the pinna can be a dead giveaway: with an ear reduction outpatient surgery, this problem can be easily solved.
We do not perform aesthetic plastic surgery on the "cauliflower" ears of wrestlers, deformation however can be stopped by cleaning the wound and performing small incisions shortly after the injury.
Course of the surgery
The important goal of the consultation with our specialist prior to the intervention is to provide the patient with a realistic picture of the options as well as the expected outcome of the intervention. Our surgeries are performed under local anesthesia, which usually take 1.5-2 hours. Suture removal is possible after 7-10 days, but you may still need to protect your ear with straps afterwards for a complete and beautiful result.
