How is face lifting done by thread lifting?
Face lifting with bio-absorbable threads is becoming increasingly popular in Hungary as well. During the procedure, bio-absorbable threads are used to lift the tissues and to stimulate collagen, as a result of which a lifted, tight face is obtained. The lifting effect is immediately visible, while tighter skin will be visible a few weeks later. This is a minimally invasive procedure with a rapid recovery time of 2-3 days.
Collagen stimulation with FTC threads
The FTC thin-thread face tightening is a modern procedure for skin tightening that began its world-conquering journey from Korea. It is excellent for tightening sagging, toneless, loose skin and smoothing out wrinkles. Before the intervention, local anesthesia is applied with a cream containing lidocaine. During the treatment, very thin, bio-absorbable threads are pulled under the skin with the help of thin cannulas or needles, the effect of which will develop in the long term. The pulling of these threads is done with a grid technique. After the absorption of the threads, the newly produced collagen ensures that the skin will remain tight in the long-term. Collagen stimulation with FTC threads is a quick intervention that takes about half an hour and is almost painless and the recovery time is short. Any small internal bleeding will be absorbed within days. It is important to stop taking blood thinners, omega three vitamins, ginkgo biloba, turmeric, and vitamin E one week before treatment.
Face lifting with COG threads
COG thread lifting has a stronger lifting effect, therefore this treatment is recommended for more mature, sagging tissues. COG threads have small spikes that are not visible to the naked eye, depending on the thread, in a 2D, 3D, or spiral form. During treatment, the biologically absorbable threads are pulled into the deeper layers with the help of a cannula. When the cannula is removed, the threads are pulled and the tiny spikes on them cling to the subcutaneous layer of the skin, thus triggering their lifting effect. The threads support and lift the face. Treatment is carried out under local anesthesia and takes about half an hour, but its effect is very long-lasting, it can last up to a year.
Important things to know
The intervention is always preceded by a consultation, during which the doctor assesses the face of the patient or the area of their body which they want to be treated, and the patient is briefed on the course of treatment.
Before treatment, it is worth avoiding smoking and consuming alcohol, which can slow down the regeneration processes. The use of aspirin and naturopathic substances should be avoided.
Avoid straining physical work. Redness, mild internal bleeding or swelling may occur in the few days after treatment. However, these are absorbed by themselves after a few days. Avoid doing sports, sunbathing, going to the sauna and solarium for a week after the thread pulling.
